Lincoln Schoenberger
Lincoln Schoenberger has been racing sailboats since age ten. Although he has done some one-design racing, he has primarily been involved with smaller PHRF boats and has owned and raced a Soling, an Evelyn 26, a Sonar, a Merit 25, a Laser, and, most recently, a Wyliecat 30. In addition to being an active racer at the club level at both Cedar Point YC in Westport, CT and Fayerweather YC in Bridgeport, CT, he frequently participates in local and regional regattas including Block Island and Key West Race Weeks.
In addition to his primary clubs, Linc is a member of numerous sailing and racing organizations including Windjammers Sailing Club, Off Soundings Club, Eastern CT Sailing Assn., and the YRA of LIS. He has served as Governor in charge of Race & Regatta at Cedar Point and as the Sailing Committee Chair at Fayerweather.
He is active on two local PHRF committees, serving as Chief Handicapper for ECSA and a committee member for YRA of LIS. He is also a certified IRC measurer and a US Sailing Club Race Officer.
